FJ TOTW MATCHDAY 25

Announcements - February 24th 2018

When the Cup Draws are made their are always two teams that you want to avoid. Swiss Kickers as they love a Cup Final and Hibs because they hardly ever lose.

So BFC Tokyo were not best pleased when I matched them with Tokyo Hibernian. However in recent seasons BFC Tokyo have always given Hibs a great match. With two nil nil matches and one defeat in their last 3 meetings BFC were looking to even the stats up.

BFC started the match on the front foot and scored the first goal after 20 minutes through 'Mr Norwich' Duncan Walsh.  The next 15 minutes it was goals galore. Hibs equalized within minutes of Walsh's goal. BFC then went on the attack and scored a second, soon after it was 3-1. Daisuke Murakoshi & Yosuke Matsumoto were the scorers.

So at half time it was 3-1 to BFC Tokyo. They could have scored a few more in the first half, would they regret not scoring more?

Second half BFC Tokyo sat deep and tried to counter attack. Hibs tried and tried but failed to create any clear chances until they got one back with 8 minutes left.

BFC held firm and inflicted the Hibs first defeat since April last year. An amazing unbeaten streak.
BFC Tokyo are worthy winners of this weeks FJ TOTW. Can they repeat the performance this weekend in the league?
