The team was founded in 2002. After entering the IFFL for two seasons, we started in Division 2 of the TML and managed to gain promotion following a 3-0 win against Shane on the last game of 2004 season. Since gaining promotion, the team has gone from strength to strength, establishing ourselves as one of the leading Division TML teams and winning the FJ Cup in 2007. Formerly known as the “Oakwood Geckoes” the team changed names to “SUNS FC” for the start of TML 14.
