Shane conclude their season with a spectacular win
Announcements -
With a few of their players injured, Shane had barely enough for their game against Jetro. Starting with 11 with a player joining later, it was looking like Jetro had the upper hand with their 14 players before the game started. The game did seem to start that way, with Jetro having some great passwork but no strong finish. However, it all changed after 20 minutes, with a goal from their leading goal scorer Kodai Takano. After this goal, Shane gained immense momentum and confidence. They were stringing better passes and creating more chances, particularly with their counter attacks. Definitely wasn't a one sided game though, Jetro has some very good buildup and side switching. They simply lacked the final finish, although that is partly due to Shane defending in the box fiercly.
Shane will definitely be happy with their performance today. A well deserved win!
This was their last league game but they still are in the running for the plate... perhaps a great momentum win for them as well!
Shane Goal Scorers: Kodai Takano (3), Daisuke Tanji (2), Christopher Price (1)
