SUNS SHINE IN BITTER COLD
Footy Japan Cup -
In one of the coldest fixtures of the season—shockingly played in the second week of March—the Suns proved that their name doesn’t define their game.
You’d think a team called the Suns might falter in icy conditions. Think again. They came out fired up—physical when it counted, lightning-quick in transition, and ruthlessly clinical in front of goal. From the first whistle, they looked locked in, shutting down Eastern Capital’s offense with surgical precision.
Eastern Capital did manage to pull one back in the dying minutes, but make no mistake—this was the Suns’ game from start to finish.
Now, the road gets even tougher. Next up: the Pumas—without a doubt the strongest test the Suns have faced this season.
But if recent form is anything to go by, the Suns are more than ready. They’ve already taken out Division 1 heavyweights Clash and Eastern Capital. If they keep this up, their path to the cup final will be paved entirely with Division 1 opposition.
The stage is set. The Suns are rising.
