The apts.jp featured team goes to King George FC after their preformance against Jetro FC. Kicking off in the early afternoon, basking in the warm sun, playing on the soft newly turfed field of YC&AC, the conditions were too good to not enjoy. Both teams had members that brought over their wives/girlfriends/kids to enjoy the weather and watch some footy. And apart from a KG player giving the finger to the Jetro linesmen, the game was an excellent display of friendly competition!

Right from the get go the two teams played at an intense level, each trying to break through the opponents defense. Both teams had key players in the mid field that provided their team with a lot of line breaking passes. It was a delightful game to be a winger or a striker for these teams that day. Both teams defense held up against the onslaught of attacks, KG had their centerbacks stopping many duels and Jetro had quite a few last man "strategic" fouls to prevent any goals. The game was very even, with King George having a slight upper hand in number of chances. As the minutes went on, it was looking more and more likely that the game would end in a draw. Jetro might have been happy with that, their goal keeper seemd to be struggling with a leg injury acquired in the second half. However, in the last 10 minutes of the game, a through ball was played to King George's Nikolai who calmly slotted it past the goal keeper. A 1-0 win for King George!
