A dark horse for the masters emerge

Announcements -

The over-40 elite took to the pitch for their second round of the masters league on September 19. With veterans showcasing timeless class, tactical brilliance, and constant whinging, the day delivered classic masters football across the board.

The league already has a clear leader, and it's not who you think it is.

Defending champs FJ Masters had a rocky start to their season, losing their first two games. The second round was setting itself up to be a disastrous day when their golden boot winner was forced to play in nets. Surprisingly, the team performed well, winning both of their games to get themselves back in the running for this seasons title. A valiant team effort with the golden boot winner playing nets for the team (and saving a PK!) to ensure their team plays at it's best.

However, it was Kilimanjaro FC that took the spotlight for match day 2. Their relentless attack and organized defense secured their fourth consecutive victory, extending their lead at the top of the table to 12 points. They've done well to win against Fine Vintage (the second place team), effectively increasing the point gap to 5 points. Their unstoppable striker, Khalifa Diabate, is scoring in every match and ensuring their team stays on top of the Kanto International Masters Soccer Sevens.
