After a season filled with sluggish starts and sloppy goals, the Saitama giants finally turned in a convincing performance despite going into the break at 1–1 thanks to a Colin Cameron goal.

Four second-half goals from Yuki Utsumi, Ryosuke Urai (2) and Thomas Bright ensured a 5–2 victory and earned KGFC the coveted FJ TOTW crown for match day 27.
