It's been over a year since we've had any sort of 7 aside football but it finally happened. January 29th at YCAC. 10 teams duking it out in two groups. It was great to see so many international communities coming together to play a common sport.

Group A had Atletico Nacional, Chin Brothers FC, All Stars FC, Morooka Yatagarasu FC, Panthers FC. Group B had Specialized Group, FC Nomades, FutsalTokyo, Kilimanjaro FC, Suns FC. With only two teams from the TML participating, it was expected that these two TML teams do well. Suns FC help their side of the bargain, finishing first in their group stage but getting knocked out in PK's in the cup run. A decent preformance that represented the TML well. Panthers FC, not so much. Finishing 4th in their group and then proceeding to lose the first match of their plate run, they were an absolute disgrace!

There were quite a few new faces in this tournament. Morooka Yatagarasu, a japanese team based in Kanagawa, won the plate. All Stars FC, a team of various African players, were runners up in the cup. Chin Brothers FC, a Myanmar team, won the wooden spoon. Futsal Tokyo, one of the largest international futsal community in Tokyo, finished 4th in their group.

The winners of the tournament was Atletico Nacional, a Latin American team. A very tough and committed team, they preformed extermely well winning all of their games!
