ROBERT WALTERS TOTW (April 30)
FJC News -
As some teams start preparing themselves for the upcoming Golden Week, the TML pushes on its games. A huge plate match occured between Clash and Sala where Clash come out triumphant in a 2-0 victory. Clash have qualified into the finals where they will be playing either Jetro or Brunello.
Another very pivotal match happened this weekend down at YCAC between Panthers and Eastern Capital.
Eastern Capitals last game of the season, playing against the current first place team Panthers FC. The first half ended on an even footing with a goal a piece. However, there was drama awaiting in the second half.
After an unfortunate collision with the opposition, Eastern Capitals trusted CB, Shobu Hari had to leave in an ambulance. This left Eastern Capital without one of their pillar players that has helped the teams defence together for most of the season.
Pulling together all they have, the Eastern Capital offence scored two more goals to edge out the Panthers. A great gift for their injured player and a fantastic conclusion to their season. Eastern Capital are safe from relegation with 22 points, putting them currently in the middle of the pack.
Congratulations to Eastern Capital for winning the Robert Walters Team of the Week!
