Division one club Swiss Kickers absorbed members from France FC going into the 2009 – 2010 season; with the Swiss Kickers swelling in numbers a new division 3 club was formed in 2011 in time for the start of TML season 9; essentially the club started as French, US, Swiss and Associates – FUSSA FC. In turn, Fussa also happens to be the hometown for a U.S./Japanese air base – Yokota AB – where most of the current members on the club call home and or work. Specifically, we, the members of Fussa FC seek to create and establish a lasting club environment to practice, compete and improve in the game of association football, while at the same time enjoying social events in and around Tokyo, most often following a match. As a club, we also seek to support the overall mission of the local air base in Fussa by striving to improve relations with the host nation, Japan and surrounding communities. In sum, we believe close associations through the game of soccer will promote friendships and develop character. While most of the club is now made up of a mix of US and Japanese players, all nationalities are welcome to tryout and have run with our club. For more information do not hesitate to contact us, we are always looking for more talent to fill our ranks!
