Footy Japan and Centre Circle NPO is pleased to announce that the total raised from our Football Charity Day was ¥365,148. All the money will go directly to Refugees International Japan.
With 3 TML weekends left before the season finishes, half the awards have already been decided. The biggest battle of them all is race to win the free pair of Adidas Football Boots. With the Golden Boot winners virtually decided in Divisions 1 & 2, the race for the winner in Division 3 is between 5 players.
The busiest day of the Footy Japan season came and went without incident. The 3rd Edition of hosting the 2 tournaments in one day was a great success. The youngest competitors were aged 5 and the eldest were in their 50's. They played for the love of the game but also helped raise money for Refugees International Japan.
The most successful team in TML history has done it again. Another trophy, they had to battle for it, but battle they did.
After an exciting Plate Final, Pumas and Tokyo Hibernian were determined to put on a show for the 30 plus spectators who had come to watch the FJ Cup Final.
With the season slowly drawing to a close the battle for top spot in Division 1 is hotting up. Current leaders Tokyo Hibernian would have been hoping for slip ups from either FC International or Panthers FC.
With only 3 matches played on matchday 34 it was an easy choice to make. The Golden Week TOTW goes to Real Celts. The 5-2 victory over Oakwood Clash puts them 6 points clear at the top of Division 3.
