FJ TOTW MATCH DAY 9

The 9th match day weekend of the season saw 5 out of the 6 matches with a heavy scoreline to the winning team. The biggest scoreline saw Jetro FC defeat Musketeers 7-1. Jetro gave a debut to their first new uniform for a very long time, they looked good and certainly played good.

FJ TOTW MATCH DAY 8

There was a time when Guarana FC were peoples favourite team to play against. Strikers wanted to score hat tricks, even defenders thought they had a chance to score a goal or two. Since changing their name 4 seasons ago to GUTS SC they have slowly been improving. Sunday saw the top 2 teams in Division 3 face each other and both were looking to keep their 100% winning runs intact.

FJ TOTW MATCHDAY 7

After a mixed start to Division 1 football Pumas FC finally kick started their season off with a thumping 5-1 victory over BFC Tokyo. 3 of the 5 goals were scored by debutants Masashi Inabi and Andre Herath which shows the future is looking bright. Yosuke Hamano and the youthful Ryouske Urai completed the scoring. With FC International and Kanto Celts up next they are delighted to have popped their Division 1 cherry. Well done to Pumas FC.

3 matches into their debut TML season and FC Sagarmatha are looking like title contenders. Having already beaten Nepal Utd and Oakwood Clash they came up against YC&AC who were buzzing from their victory over Shane FC during match day 5.

Heavy rain all week leading up to the biggest TML weekend of the season, 11 matches scheduled, Hachioji Park covered in puddles, one stressed out guy managing it all and amzingly all matches were played. 56 goals were scored, 5 of which were scored by this weeks FJ Team of the Week: Sala FC.

FJ TOTW MATCHDAY 4

Last season saw Kanto Celts take 4th spot ahead of Panthers FC by a goal difference of +2. Saturday the capacity crowd at Hachioji Park got to see how both teams had improved their squad over the Summer months. It was time for Panthers FC to parade their new Summer signing Nicolai Jessen-Peterson, the most prolific forward to come from Denmark since Brian Laudrup and Mikkel Beck.

FJ TOTW MATCHDAY 3

After the disappointment of failing to gain promotion last season British Embassy FC were out to lay down a marker in their opening TML match of the season. They certainly did that with a 8-1 victory over Suns FC. A hat trick from Kentaro Takahashi and a brace from James Pounder helped the Embassy claim this weeks FJ TOTW title. Congratulations to everyone associated with the British Embassy Football Club.
